What Is Semax?

Semax is a synthetic heptapeptide (Met-Glu-His-Phe-Pro-Gly-Pro) derived from a fragment of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH 4–10) with the terminal glycine-proline motif added to improve enzymatic stability. Reconstitution & Calculator

For a 30 mg lyophilized vial, slowly add 3 mL of bacteriostatic water down the side of the vial, swirl gently until the powder fully dissolves, and store refrigerated. That yields a 10 mg/mL working concentration — a 250 mcg dose is 25 microliters (2.5 units on a U-100 insulin syringe), and a 500 mcg dose is 50 microliters (5 units).
