What Is Epitalon?
Epitalon (also called Epithalon) is a synthetic tetrapeptide based on epithalamin, a compound naturally produced by the pineal gland. It has attracted significant research interest in the longevity and biohacking research communities. Preclinical research has examined Epitalon's potential effects on telomerase activity, circadian rhythm regulation, and pineal gland function. Much of the foundational research originates from Russian gerontology studies conducted over several decades. Epitalon is not approved by the FDA for human use and is classified as a research chemical.
Unlike many peptides used in continuous protocols, Epitalon is most commonly studied and used in defined cycles rather than ongoing daily administration.
